In October 1982 a young Army recruit was standing at attention in an early morning formation waiting to start the daily exercise program. The sergeant running the formation yelled out, “Quit your grumbling! You woke up above dirt! You’re looking down at the daisies instead of up at them! Therefore, IT’S A GOOD DAY!”

The young recruit never forgot that.

Every day IS a good day. WE choose what to make of each day. WE can choose to let life’s challenges weigh us down or WE can choose to face them head on, change what we can, deal with what we can’t change and simply keep moving forward in a positive manner. (see Serenity Prayer below. It is applicable to whatever deity you worship!)
